Need more numbers?

Add numbers to any plan. Each one adds 50 SMS a month to the shared pool for its type. Larger plans include more numbers and members for less than buying the same capacity as extras.

Standard or Mobile?

Every plan includes both types. Pick per account, based on what the service you’re signing in to accepts. The number-selection guide explains how to check.

Standard

A US local number that receives SMS. Use it for services that accept VoIP numbers.

Mobile

A number issued by a mobile network. Use it for services that only send codes to mobile numbers.

Questions

Do I need a higher plan for API access?

No. API, SDK, CLI and MCP access come with every plan. Plans differ only in included numbers, monthly SMS and members. Each credential still needs explicit permissions and selected numbers.

What counts as a member?

Everyone who has joined the workspace, including owners and administrators. Pending invitations count once accepted. API keys, agents and other software connections don't use member places.

Can I add members beyond my plan limit?

Move to a larger plan when you need more members. Extra numbers and SMS add message capacity but don't raise the member limit.

How does the SMS allowance work?

Each plan's numbers share a monthly pool per type: all Standard numbers draw on the Standard pool and all Mobile numbers on the Mobile pool. Unused Standard SMS can't cover Mobile messages. Messages keep arriving after a pool runs out, and the extra ones are billed at that type's per-SMS rate. A long message split into several parts counts once per part, and a repeated delivery of the same message isn't counted again. Pools reset on your monthly billing date and don't roll over.

Should I upgrade or add numbers to Starter?

If you need one or two more numbers and your team fits Starter's member limit, adding numbers is simpler. Once you need several more, or more members, Team costs less than the same capacity as extras.

Does Standard mean VoIP?

Yes. Standard is a US local number that receives SMS. It works with services that accept VoIP numbers. Mobile numbers come from a mobile network. Neither type guarantees that every outside service will accept a particular number.

When should I choose a Mobile number?

When an account only sends codes to mobile numbers, or rejects a Standard number. Each plan includes both types, so you can use Mobile for those accounts and Standard for the rest. Both have the same shared inbox, permissions and programmatic access.

Do I need to set up all my included numbers?

No. Start with the numbers you need and add the rest later. A number being set up holds a place in your allowance, and releasing a number frees its place once the provider confirms.

Can I use the same workspace for QA or agents later?

Yes. Teammates and scoped software can use the same company numbers. Independent tests can use separate numbers or take turns on a shared one. Waiting for messages from your own code has no separate fee.
